Erin Welch is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with extensive experience working with those impacted by eating disorders. Her history includes several years as the lead dietitian at a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level eating disorder clinic, and for the past five years, she has worked in outpatient nutrition counseling. Erin is a great fit for those looking to improve their thoughts and behaviors surrounding nutrition, nutrition related labs, body, or exercise. In addition to the eating disorder recovery community, Erin enjoys working with athletes looking for help meeting advanced fueling needs and those recovering from RED-S, as well as anyone looking for help improving their lipid, blood sugar, or liver health.
An advocate for health guidance to be offered through an Intuitive Eating, trauma-informed, and Health at Every Size lens; meaning she will make health promoting behaviors accessible without weight stigma. Instead of focusing on weight alone, Erin helps you to evaluate and untangle the intersections of nutrition education (or misinformation), stress, and/or body image as they relate food beliefs and behavior. She additionally loves to pair her clients up with eating disorder trained therapists to guide expert level core belief work on intersecting topics.
Please note, you do not have to be stepping down from a higher level of care or have an eating disorder to qualify for nutrition counseling. If you identify with intrusive thoughts related to food, eating, movement, body image, and/or nutrition related labs, please reach out.
